Thank you for taking the time to visit Greenshoots Photography. This web site features a varied collection of photos taken both here in the UK as well as further afield.
People frequently ask me what sort of photos do I take and I am usually left struggling for an answer but upon reflection I think that it can be simply expressed as “people and places” and both of these themes feature strongly in the galleries on this web site. But in truth I will take photos of anything that takes my interest and imagination; for me the magic of photography is its ability to both capture and share a particular moment and at the same time to do more than simply record the scene but to show something more, something deeper. With the advent of digital photography and its instant feedback and no longer having to worry about the cost of film my photography has become increasingly “artistic” as I work to capture the inner essence of what is both in front of me and of what I am experiencing at the time.
