The Crack @ Tate Modern. The Crack, or Shibboleth as it was titled by its creator Doris Salcedo was filled in in May 2008 and has now gone without trace. However, while it was there it was not only an amazing piece, a 550 foot long fissure running the length of the turbine hall but watching the way people interacted with the piece was fascinating too. The Loweryesk appearance of the figures in this image adds yet another dimension to the piece.
